Electricity Solar Panels Make
A volcano erupting.
You measure a solar panel by watts, volts, and amps. The formula is watts÷volts=amps. When you purchase a solar panel the company will say how many watts, volts, or amps it can produce. That number is called the peak power. Your solar panel will never reach its peak power because there is never a perfect, sunny day. As solar panels age they get farther and farther from their peak power. Volcanoes and pollution cause solar panels to produce less electricity.
